It is free to call us to book a conference.

Questions we get asked most often.
It depends on the type of matter and how complex it is. For some matter types we offer fixed fees so you know the cost upfront before you commit to anything. For more complex matters we will give you a clear estimate after we understand your situation. The best thing to do is call us. We will talk through your situation and give you a straight answer on what your matter is likely to cost.
Yes. We are a preferred supplier to Legal Aid Queensland and act for eligible clients in criminal law, child protection and domestic violence matters. If you are not sure whether you qualify, call us and we will help you through the application process.
Get advice before you speak to police again. Write down what you remember while it is fresh, keep every document you have been given, and call us so we can go through the charge, any bail conditions and your next court date with you.
Ask for everything in writing and speak to a lawyer straight away. Timeframes in child protection matters are short and what you say early on matters. We can explain what the Department is asking of you, what your options are, and what happens if the matter goes to court.
Sometimes. A work licence is only available in limited circumstances, and the application has to be made the right way, with the right evidence, at the right time. Call us before your court date so we can tell you whether you are likely to be eligible.
Both are usually heard in the Magistrates Court, but traffic matters generally concern your licence, including drink driving, suspensions, demerit points and work licences, while criminal matters concern charges that can leave you with a criminal record. Some traffic charges are also criminal offences, so it is worth checking which one you are facing.
You are not required to have one, but a conviction can affect work, travel and licensing long after the matter is finished. A short conversation before you go to court usually costs very little and often changes the outcome.
